Day 8
I found running to be one of the biggest obstacles for me when working out today. I never had a good right knee because of a sports injury and today that made an impact on my performance. As much as I wanted to quit I told my self no. It would come to the point that I was internally insulting myself to keep myself from giving up. I would ask myself: Is this all you got? Are you a pansy? It seems like an odd tactic but it really worked. I finished strong and was so proud of myself when I was done. I learned that pushing yourself can help you go the extra step. I could have quit early or even lowered the speed on the treadmill but I was strong and kept going. It is the best feeling to be able to break past the boundaries that I put up for myself.
